About The Greece Republican Committee
As a result of the exceptional Republican leadership in our local government with continued adherence to Republican values, Greece residents enjoy a town that has received recognition for its outstanding accomplishments. The Town of Greece has received the Morgan-Quitno Award for being one of the safest communities, the Platinum Award from the American Automobile Association for excellence in traffic safety, and the Outstanding Planning Award in the Planning Implementation category for the Town’s Open Space Acquisition Program. Greece is also designated as a Tree City, because the town plants over 300 new trees each year.
The Greece community enjoys the benefits of 17 parks with land for recreational sports and activities. Greece also has plenty of bike paths, nature trails, ponds for fishing, golf courses and Braddock Bay which is used for water recreation activities. The Greece Public Library was completed in 2000, and receives more than 500,000 visits annually. Greece residents also enjoy The Community and Senior Center which features a gymnasium, fitness area, walking track and several craft and activity rooms.
This quality of life in Greece is due to the outstanding local Republican leadership we have in Greece and Monroe County. The Greece Republican Committee supports this leadership and will continue to endorse and promote the best-qualified people for local public office.
We have many dedicated and hard working members involved in the Greece Republican Committee and there is always room for more members. The Greece Republican Committee holds monthly meetings, selects candidates to run for office, and participates in campaigns and fundraising events.
